Acceptance of abstracts will be judged by the ISSE2017 Scientific Committee based on:

originality, scientific merit, study design, clarity of expression, presentation of substantial data, adherence to the rules of submission, and relevance to the topic.

Submission of abstract related with the topics on  Status Epilepticus  in infancy/childhood and its related disorders is encouraged, however we accept abstracts of infantile seizure disorders not related with the topics.
The presenting author of an abstract is requested to complete the registration procedure including the fee payment, or to present a special note indicating payment guarantee. Otherwise, the abstract received will be considered as a temporary one.
A single author or a group of authors can submit two or more abstracts on different topics.
The abstract should be prepared in English.
Deadline for abstract submission is on May 20, 2017.

Notification of acceptance will be sent to the presenting author by May 2017.

How to prepare an abstract

  1. Abstract text (excluding title, authors and affiliations) must not exceed 300 words.
  2. Abstract title must be in CAPITAL letters. Title should be concise and indicate the content of abstract.
  3. Names of all co-authors, institutions, cities and countries are to be typed under the title.
  4. Author's first or given name should be fully spelled-out and shall always be placed before the capitalized family name (i.e. Josemari SANTOS).
  5. The presenting author should be placed top and underlined.
  6. Each author should carry the number indicating respective institution, city, and country. Do NOT include degrees or professional titles (Dr., PhD., Prof., MD, etc).
  7. Leave one line space between the title/author block and the body of the abstract.
  8. Abstract text must be single-spaced. Do not leave blank lines between paragraphs.
  9. The headings (Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions) must be bolded and followed by a colon (:) and then the text.
  10. Neither graphs, pictures nor other types of images should be included in abstract.
  11. Use standard abbreviations.
  12. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full term when it appeared for the first time.
  13. As a standard font, please use Times / Times New Roman of 12 points.

An abstract text should only be created with Microsoft Word. ( PDF file is not available. )
And also neither fax nor postal sending will be accepted.
